FAQs

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. You may be asked to undress to your underwear for the physical examination, so feel free to bring or wear clothing you are comfortable in. E.g. sports bra / shorts / loose trousers.

What happens during my first appointment?

During your first visit, the osteopath will take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination to assess your condition. They will discuss their findings and propose a treatment plan. The first session often includes an initial treatment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any missed or late cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded. We appreciate that some will occasionally miss, forget or cancel appointments for genuine and unforeseen reasons, however, we ask clients to understand and respect the 24 hour cancellation period where possible.

Can I have treatment if I am pregnant?

Yes, we treat pregnant women from the second trimester of pregnancy. Osteopathy can help relieve back, pelvic, and joint pain as your body changes. We always adapt treatment to suit your stage of pregnancy, avoid pressure on your abdomen, and make sure you’re comfortable in supported positions. If needed, we’ll also liaise with your midwife or GP to ensure the best care for you and your baby.
